Gogol Park Hostel - Riga

The hostel is conveniently located very near to the old town, making it easy to explore the city's main attractions. It is also close to the city center, allowing easy access to shops, restaurants, and nightlife. the hostel is within walking distance to the Central Market, where you can find a variety of local produce and goods.

Some guests mentioned that the common areas, such as the kitchen and the fridge, were not properly cleaned.

The staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful during our stay. They provided us with useful information about the city and were always ready to assist us with any queries or requests. the location of the hotel was great. It was close to the central market and train/bus main station, making it easy for us to explore the city and travel to other places. Lastly, we were pleased to find that towels were included in our stay and that we could use the washing machine for free.

That the wifi in the hotel was quite unreliable and often failed to connect. This made it difficult for us to stay connected and plan our activities.

I had a great stay at Gogol Park. The staff was accommodating and allowed me to check in early without any extra charges. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable, providing a much-needed rest after a long trip. The hotel is conveniently located near the central railway and bus station, making it easy to explore Riga's downtown area. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and convenient location.

Me and my squad had a blast exploring Riga. We hit up the Central Market, where we stuffed ourselves with delicious local treats. Then, we headed to the Latvian Academy of Sciences for some sick views from the observation deck. The location of the hostel was perfect, close to all the cool spots.

Honestly, the only thing we wished for was a more happening nightlife scene near the hostel. As young party people, we wanted to dance the night away, but the area was a bit quiet at night.

We stayed at Gogol Park for 4 days and it was a great experience. The owners were friendly, the room was comfortable, and the location was convenient. The room had 3 single beds and a double-decker, offering plenty of space for the four of us. The shared facilities were clean, and the well-equipped kitchen and laundry amenities were a bonus. The proximity to the Central Market and public transport made exploring the city easy.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was great! I booked a room with a shared bathroom but was given a room with a private one. The staff was very friendly and helped me with all my requests. The hotel is located close to a park, making it a peaceful and beautiful location. It is also conveniently located close to the bus stop to-and-from the airport, making transportation easy. it is in the main old town area, just a short walk away from the city center. Cleanliness was great, and the hotel facilities, including a fridge and kettle in the room, were great. this hotel is a perfect choice for budget travelers.

The room we stayed in was really bright and well-lit, making it feel cozy and inviting. It gave off such a positive and cheerful vibe, which instantly put me in a good mood. I absolutely loved it!

Personally, I found the soundproofing in the quadruple room to be a little lacking. There were moments when I could hear noises from neighboring rooms or outside, which could be a bit distracting.

The wifi speed was mind-blowing , perfect for digital nomads. The room was equipped with more than 10 power plugs and a table with chairs, ideal for getting work done. The location was great, with a Maxima shop and central market nearby. The shared facilities were well-maintained, including a kitchen with cookware and kitchen utensils, as well as a laundry room. The place was quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful stay. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Great value for money in !
